I was thinking about that paper millioniare stuff and I was questioned to what avail? to whose glory? why you wanna get bread so fast? And I thought, the reason I want this dough so bad, and so soon is because I plan to use the funds to fuel this ill ill idea I had for a young black male program. As yall know, I'm deeply connected to my community and its type weird cuz so wat pops.Both moms and pops are social workers, so I got that community-focused mindset at heart. But also cuz both are very pro-black, uplifting the community-type peoples, it obviously carried over to me. When I came across the idea for this male program, I thought I was a genius. It was mid summer (early July) before I started work. I explained the idea to my pops mad excited and goin off on tangents like I do in the blog but worse of course cause ADD is always worse in person (there are visual distractions). But he was laughin the whole time while I was explaining, and I aint think that was funny. But after I finished he asked if I came up with that on my own. Cuz he did that....He did just that at my church when i was dumb young....too young to be involved or even remember obviously.
But he got the documentation and write-ups and everything. So I'ma use his knowledgebase/experience to perfect mine, which is slighly different, but very similar.

P.S. check the pics....lol...yeah i know...but forreal its little opportunities similar to this that positively affect our youth, forreal though, how do you know you can do something if you never seen someone else do it and you can't fathom it.

Like father like son... lol @ him laughing at you... u do have trouble staying on track tho. But dont rely on urself to make program happen. I was thinking all of us should start an investment pool for all our social projects. Kind of like a talented 10th fund that we can all tap into if the group agrees that an individuals business plan or philanthropic idea is worth it. I mean there has to b criteria… one of which I believe should b that, whatever venture you want to undertake has to affect the African diaspora in some positive way. Anyway so once every 3-4 months we add to this account, just building… so when it comes time for you to fund some sort of edifice to hold ur young male program you have a stepping stone. Or for instance if Amanda colon was apart of this group and she needed an investment for her first colon movie joint.. she could tap into it granted we all agreed. ANYWHOOO that’s my idea… kinda like the harlem business association.
In other news…. I hate the phrase pipe/street dream. That’s a major reason why half the ppl who have them never achieve them. I like to call it channeling my future, cuz even Plans sumtimes don’t get seen out to completion. Creating success, cuz it can be done. Commitment is key. There we go.. the three C’s Channel Commit Create… O SNAP. I bet if you throw mutual funds into that plan... u can cut ur 29 yr old, million mark down to 27 yrs.

And I like your idea about the investement pool, but that may have to be something that happens when we find other working ppls, cuz alot of our friends are doing other programs that doesn't put them in the best financial situation to pool just yet, but soon we all shall
